Sarah Schulman is an acclaimed American novelist, playwright, nonfiction writer, screenwriter, gay activist and AIDS historian. She holds an endowed chair in nonfiction at Northwestern University, and is a fellow of the New York Institute for the Humanities. She also sits on the board of Jewish Voices for Peace. She is a recipient of both the Bill Whitehead Award and the Lambda Literary Award. Her new book will be published in 2025.

In addition to his work as a filmmaker, Adam is also an educator and business-owner. In 2016, he founded the Art Detectives, an inclusive art school that specializes in developing personalized programming for neurodiverse artists.
